Hey there, this is Max again.
Finally the post that I promised you!
The shoes, hat and scarf are all made and designed by me :D
I made everything blue and orange, because I didn’t had any other colors.. But I think it looks cool on my Sackboy!
Gail also made a little backpack for him, so he can take stuff with him when he is traveling. For example, when it is warm he can put his scarf in his little backpack (:
On the next post Sackboy will be traveling through Delft with his new cap!
Byebye and stay tuned!! P=

The cake is a lie…
I liked Portal a lot but haven’t finish Portal 2 :( I found the game very humorous and always liked the companion cube. I used this pattern but I didn’t find the crochet corners working out nice and stopped with my cube for a couple of weeks. Then I bought some pink felt and finished my companion cube with felt corners as well.
I like how it turned out :)

I love love love food and my favorite foods are sushi and noodles I think. I also like pizza, pasta’s, cake and cookies, but then the list goes on and on. xD
Below you can see the small amigurumi onigiri I made 2 weeks ago. In the background you see small sushi magnets. I have made them myself last year from polymer clay. I have made a lot of magnets and maybe will do a seperate post about them.
I was also a little bit bored last weekend and made a vector of the onigiri jus for fun :) I’m trying to get better at Illustrator since it can be handy for my study but also for digital designs.
More posts coming up soon!

Hello!
My name is Max and this is Sackboy my lil brother :D
This Sackboy is my first real crochet project.
Before this project I only made one small babyslipper, but that was only to try crochet.
Because Gail started to crochet and inspired me by making a Sackboy, I wanted to make a Sackboy too.
At the beginning I didn’t really knew what I was doing :P but the whole process of making my Sackboy learned me a lot about the principles of crochet. It took me about a whole week to make him, but I’m really proud of it! Now he and Gail’s Sackboy are real BFF’s as you can see in the picture.

Best friends forever!
Eventhough I was really happy with the result, I thought that Sackboy missed something. For the people who don’t know the game, you can personalize your Sackboy by giving him clothes. So I challenged myself to dress up Sackboy :)
Without any patterns I made some shoes, a scarf and a hat all by myself :D
Gail also made a LA cap and a small backpack, which can carry small notes .
Sackboy will pose with his new clothes soon, so stay tuned ;)

Happy Pi day everyone!
Today 3-14 is Pi day, to celebrate I made this cherry pie amigurumi. This is not my design, I found it on ravelry. Here it is :)
Later today Sackboy will also make his first appearance, with a guest post of Max.

No I’m not having a baby, nor does one of my friends or family members. I actually don’t know anyone with a newborn. I wanted to try these just for fun to improve my techniques and skills. Amigurumi is super fun, but to be able making useful/wearable things is great too. :)
I found these baby sneakers on Ravelry here. I didn’t find them hard to make and since they are for babies and small, it didn’t take too long to finish these.
Don’t know what to do with them now, maybe put them up on etsy or something.
Last week I finished my Portal companion cube, onigiri sushi and strawberry pie amigurumis. Pikachu is almost finished as I only need to fill his body with stuffing and create his mouth :D
ANDDDD……….. Max his Sackboy is finished!! Sackboy will soon be shining on this blog hihi

Excuse me if their are any mistakes in the pattern, this is my first one. I used medium thickness yarn here and I think it was 100 grams. I’m not sure because it had no label when I bought it. My scarf can wrap 2 times around my neck, but I think longer than that will be pretty too.

R1. Using a 5.5 mm hook needle and medium thickness yarn create CH20. If you want a wider scarf add in couples of 4.
R2. DC to the end, beginning in the 4th stitch from the hook (17)
R3. turn, CH2, 4x BPDC, 4X FPDC, 4x BPDC, 4X FPDC, DC in the turning CH2
R4. repeat R3
R5. turn CH2, 4X FPDC, 4x BPDC, 4X FPDC, 4x BPDC, DC in the turning CH2
R6. repeat R5
R7. Keep repeating *R3,R4,R5,R6* until your scarf has the length to be wrapped around your neck at least twice.
R8. finish off and sew end to the beginning of the scarf.
In the past six weeks I made these 3 amigurumi, all with All About Ami patterns. As you can see here, I love her blog!
Below you can see this teddy bear, which is actually Graduation Teddy but not so much graduation in my case. I can’t remember how I made the bow exactly.

This is spring bunny, unfortunately I placed her eyes to low and now it looks like she is hiding :( I had fun making her and it was a quick project.

This is my version of the dragon. The snout looks like a tomato with :3 face hihi.

After seeing this recycled paper basket on pinterest, I was inspired to make a basket too. Here in the Netherlands, brown paper bags are not used a lot, so that wasn’t a option. I also cannot make straight lines with the sewing machine, so that wasn’t a option either.
I didn’t want to use newspapers because they will probably stain and magazines would be too short. So while looking for usable paper, I found 3 old abercrombie bags with the fabric lace handles. (Now they have wide fabric handles and the paper is even more sturdy)

I ripped the bags open, cut 6 strokes out of each bag and folded them to 5 cm wide strokes. It’s easier to fold and then cut by the way.
Then I wove them together and used some hot glue.
